The movie is great, except for one part that DESTROYS THE TONE OF THE ENTIRE MOVIE and that part is Johnny Depp doing typical stupid Johnny Depp improvising that he should NOT have been allowed to do. The initial escape scene does nothing to make you actually FEAR Grindelwald like you would Voldemort.
It makes him more of a joke. This is the weakest entry into the Harry Potter universe and it's sad, because everything else about it was good. (Not as good as the first one, but that one had less of a Depp taint on it.
) His acting is so subpar it brings the whole movie down.
