Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Miles S — 17 Nov 2018
The easy stand outs here are Eddie Redmayne as Newt, Jude Law as Dumbledore, and Surprisingly Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. This movie would be one of the best in the franchise if the movie wasn't so crammed with characters who have unnecessary back stories.
When the movie is focused on its main plot, that's where it shines. This is easily one of the best movies to look at this year. It has great action sequences that are just are nail-biting. If it just weren't for all those characters this movie would be one of the best in the Wizarding World.
