Very complicated to follow, even for hardcore Harry Potter fans. Unlike the first installment which wisely decided to stay away from the Harry Potter story thread, this one decided to alter the original timeline only to feature beloved Harry Potter characters for a few seconds and serving no real purpose to this story.

Moreover, the dialogue lacked all of the wittiness and humor it had in the first one. This film has committed to many crimes for fans to like it, but at the same time failed to be a story of its own for non-hardcore fans to like it or even understand any of the convoluted plot points.
