Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Rishaan J — 15 Nov 2018
The Crimes of Grindelwald was a brilliant addition to the Harry Potter series. Yates and Rowling did an excellent job captivating the audiences, and the creatures and storylines, especially that of Leta Lestrange, really stood out.
I thought the cast performances were spot on, and Jude Law did an excellent job portraying Dumbledore. The cinematica and animation were incredible, and the last scene in the graveyard really stood out.
I disagree with most critics on this movie; they ascertained that the movie was not enough and was all over the place, while in reality if you have read the books and are familiar with the Potter series, this is an extremely important addition to the Potter series.
I donï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t think this movie was made for those not familiar with Harry Potter, though it may still be enjoyable. The true moment of enjoyment will come at the end for Potter fans, as a few exciting breakthroughs are made.
Overall, I recommend for Potter fans, think this is an excellent addition to the series, and still think it will be cinematically enjoyable to those unfamiliar with the Potter Lore.
