Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Clark A — 15 Nov 2018

Yes, this film is a setup for other films, but it tells a choesive single story yet. There are loose ends, but with multi-film stories that has to be expected, and they do not detract from THIS story which is engaging with a satisfactory conclusion. Nothing the "dumbed down" for the audience, so be prepared to follow a couple different storylines, but if you were able to follow LotR Two Towers, you can handle this.

Overall great growth in the characters from Fantastic Beasts, and some new great additions to the cast all fitting in captivating film that broadens the magical universe while telling a story forcing our characters to make new and difficult choices.
