Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Riccardo M — 16 Nov 2018

Have to say this film needs to be seen lot of times to get all the details as it is really complicated. However, giving hints during the movie until the big final twist it is one of the incredible skills of J.K. Rowling narrative.

The score is incredible and James Newton Howard has created some of the best track I ever listened.

Too many character in this movie and it seems a bit overcrowed, probably because of an editing not at its best and you can feel that some scenes have been finished on the cutting room floor. The Hogwarts scenes are worth the ticket.

Special mention to a Johnny Depp at his best. Fnally returns with one of the most interesting and intriguing characters ever seen on the bug screen. Incredible performance.

Im really looking forward for the next installment, it is just the second movie and im sure J.K. Rowling has a lot to tell.
