There were SO MANY easter eggs in this movie from the HP fandom! I can see how critics who are unfamiliar with the HP series, I.E. those who did NOT grown up reading the books and investing time in the fandom, could be VERY confused as the backstory and requires more information.

But from a true HP fan, it was freaking awesome.
