Finally got to watch this, glad I waited for it to be shown on DVD. Even though it was semi-unique it was kind of a drag on story. I guess the whole Harry Potter theme has worn thin. It seems repetitive.
The creatures were different and well made graphically. But there were times when you can tell the actors were merely looking at a tennis ball or some other eye spot and not the inserted creature. It was just OK.
