Although set in the very rich and fantastic Harry Potter mythos, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is boring and bland. The plot is simple and nicely done but feels that the producers didn't have time to extract more juice from it.
Some of the characters seem displaced and the monsters itself sometimes are more interesting than the people itself. Dedicated fans probably will have more fun that I did. The fantastic visuals cant compensate the serious lack of magic of this one.
