Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an excellent first chapter in the Harry Potter spin off. It immediately lurches towards the darker aspects of the later potter movies, whilst still maintaining some giddy fun of new discovery.
The world building is great and in general, this is a much more satisfying movie than the early Potter films.
