As a fan of the Harry Potter movies, I thoroughly enjoyed this and thought it was an awesome expansion to the Wizarding World. Eddie Redmayne as Newt was AMAZING! I would put this as probably my third favorite movie that takes place in JK Rowling's Wizarding World.
Only behind Goblet of Fire and Chamber of Secrets 100%.
