Just rented it on DVD and fell asleep watching it. Rowling's magic was when she was writing for the audience that made her famous, children! Her first two books were truly, well, magical as were the first two movies when they had the perfect Dumbledore in Richard Harris.
After the second book she drifted away more and more from the audience that had made her and it showed in the quality of her writing. As for the movies they made the most ghastly choice possible for Dumbledore and that always detracted from the following movies.
