Okay, I am a huge fan of this franchise. I've read all the books and love all of the films. As much as I hate to say it, I didn't like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Let's begin with the positives.
The cast were excellent, the humour was well written and funny, It was interesting seeing the customs and differences in the wizarding world within the U.S as compared to the U.K,the cinematography was very good also.
The negatives. The film is filled to the brim with CGI that a lot of the time looks unconvincing(The film would have benefited with more puppetry and animatronics), the characters were very much so underwritten,The film had no consistency within its tone, the film was dragged on about 20-30 minutes to long, the villain was weak and the film spends way to much time world building and setting up sequels.
I was left very disappointed with this film. 4/10.
