Review of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) by Lee A — 18 Jun 2017
This movie was nothing but a disaster. I think they only took advantage of the fame that Harry Potter had to get this one, but I think they rushed so much that they did not bother to make characters with charisma and qualities, they were all flat and dry, they did nothing but bore, no actor Strived to improve their respective characters.
The only redeemable performance of the film was Dan Fogler. The story was totally without emotion, it was almost the same as in the Fantastic Four of 2015, they hurried a lot, only that in this film they put stuffing to lengthen it but still it was rushed.
The special effects were decent, because at one point almost all the beasts looked fake. There is more to say but I get tired of writing, so in conclusion: It was a bad movie, David Yates did not give anything interesting, not even J.
K. Rowling was able to save the movie. Disappointing.
