Review of Fantasia (2004) by Jason R — 26 Dec 2010
Probably my favorite Disney movie and one of my favorite movies (despite the fact I'm not that into classical music). The movie showed that animation could be art and wasn't just for children, but could still be enjoyed by children.
It has a good blend of interpretational, fun, and scary pieces, and has held up well (except maybe the little "Soundtrack" segment but that is forgivable). It was meant to be updated regularly with new segments but that never happened until Fantasia 2000.
