Review of Fantasia (2004) by Rich C — 16 Jul 2011
Most of the individual segments works well, but is bogged down by the unnecessary monologue by the composer. Still, it shows that Disney peaked in the 40's and was more interested in creating works of art than making money.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Pastoral Symphony, and The Night on Bald Mountain are the highlights.
