Review of Fantasia (2004) by Kyle M — 25 Mar 2015
After "Snow White" and "Pinocchio", Walt Disney's third animated feature proves to be a finest masterpiece there is in film. The soul is an orchestra providing the music for an artistic short of an expressionist artist going along the sync of the symphony at a large scale that matches the volume. It's a visionary music extravaganza from Disney's wondrous imagination. Although it's not flawless since you have the orchestra music and the art expressing it, the pace throughout is slow. But maybe that's because it was home viewing not matching the effect of theatrical viewing, which was only applied to this film. (A-).
