Review of Fantasia 2000 (2000) by Simon L — 08 Aug 2007

Not as good as the original, but still better than %99 of the films Disney has made since. Technically, all the shorts are superb, but none of them really match the iconic wonder of that the best parts of Fantasia achieved.

Also, the star-studded intros really drag the film down into gimmick territory. Still, it's all great to watch, with the Pines of Rome, Steadfast Tin Soldier, and Rite of Spring segments being especially good.
