Review of Fantasia 2000 (2000) by Andrew G — 14 Feb 2010
The animation and music in this film are absolutely breathtaking, incredible treats for both the eyes and ears. There are some scenes where you just it there baffled at their beauty. Yet, it's sad to say that it doesn't match the original Fantasia.
The humour and cameos that the film tried to add in between the animated pieces was highly unnecessary and took away from the experience (except for Angela Lansbury) that only Fantasia can deliver. It's a good film even with that, but it becomes more obvious that it is a more flawed film than the original.
