I wish I had the opportunity to see this amazing film in IMAX. A worthy successor to the 1940 film, Fantasia 2000 plays on Disney's original idea of making Fantasia an evolving art form. The new pieces were beautifully animated and very imaginative.
The advancements in the medium only gave animators more artistic freedom to captivate audiences with such memorable imagery. I can only hope that Disney is planning another one of these in the near future (as in, NOT 60 years later), because possibilities are endless.
