Good, but not great follow-up to Fantasia. There are some segments that are perfect (Rhapsody in Blues) and some that fall flat (Pines of Rome). The music often doesn't seem as inspiring as the music for the original Fantasia, but the movie still is strong.
The "celebrity" introductions work now but will date the movie even faster than the old Fantasia. It is nice to see other art influencing Disney (and Disney seems to often be at its best when it is forced to step out of its element).
The Firebird Suite could have been taken directly from Princess Mononoke.
