Sadly the only star of the new version of Disney's spectacular 1940 original is the music. The majority of the animations failed to even get close to the beautiful legacy of the 1940 classic. Only the final Stravinsky piece came close, only working because it was essentially a rehash of the previous Disney successes,.
Becoming a marriage of the forest fire scene from Bambi and the gothic vision of the Mussorgsky piece from the original.
