Review of Fanny by Gaslight (1944) by Gary S — 20 Jul 2007
Those that like the dead greats might enjoy this yarn with a name that sounds odd to the modern ear as James Mason and Stewart Granger are in fine form in this watchable period drama that as you would expect sympathises with the hardships of the unfortunate child Fanny and her subsequent life.
Little suprises but well executed.
