Review of Fanny and Alexander (1982) by Gonzalo R — 05 May 2010
I often cite this as my favorite film of all time; this Bergman masterpiece is one I connect with like few others. It is an exploration of family, faith, creativity, childhood and other issues I personally face every day.
Yet it's also more fun and vital than most Bergman. Be sure to make time for the 5 hour television version, it's more than worth your time.
