"Fanboys" offers a fantastic premise rife with potential comedy. If only someone had thought to write in a few jokes. Simply seeing nerds be nerdy isn't funny in it's self. That said, the best aspect of the movie is a heated rivalry between our heroic Star Wars fans and a group of Trekkies. More of that might have saved the day.
