Fanboys is a movie for Fanboys though anybody can watch it and enjoy it. It's packed with jokes about Star Wars and Star Trek. Most will not get the jokes if you don't like Star Wars/Trek, but it does have its funny moments for those not well versed in Star Wars/Trek.
It's got a heartfelt story that anyone can appreciate. Though this movie is targeted to fans of sci-fi, anyone can take away from it the point it's trying to get across. That friendship is what matters most.
Good story. Acting is as good as any other comedy. Some fun cameos by Carrie Fischer, William Shatner and others.
