Review of Fanatic (1965) by Hazel S — 13 Jun 2009
This sagged in the middle but overall it wasn't too implausible. I am extremely uncomfortable with the threat of rape depicted on film which soured a couple of scenes. The cast were great particularly Tallulah Bankhead who I have now seen in a total of two films - this and Lifeboat.
Yootha Joyce was pretty good as Mildred, I mean, Anna, while it was odd to see Donald Sutherland so large and awkward - he played the "idiot" very well.
