Review of Fan (2016) by Santosh K — 18 Apr 2016

Generally I have found movies better than what the reviewers say. This is the first time I have to say completely the opposite. In fact I am surprised how this movie is getting good reviews despite the fact that everyone I know ( includes people of all ages) hated the movie.

It has nothing to do with SRK- SRK is the usual SRK, no major surprises. The poorest part is that this movie seems to have been abandoned half way through. It started off as a thriller. The plot was good but no justice was done to it.

We kept waiting to be entertained by a thriller- but it did not happen at all. After the characters were built up and the theme introduced to the audience-story does not progress at all. The chase and the stunts are unrealistic- does not fit and not justified in either ( of the two) character's characterization.

You can pay attention to cinematography if the whole movie is making any sense. It was nothing out of the ordinary any way, not something that would catch your attention.
