Review of Family Plot (1976) by Guillaume H — 18 Oct 2013
Some say its a lesser hitchock (in some ways, being a dark comedy, it gets corny at times but in a nice 70s way) but I dont really mind; its too much fun. And it has the distinction of being his last, and its a good swan song.
The plot is engaging, bigger than nature, and it pays off, I giggled for a long time after it ended. To top it all, its another total Karen Black Delight, in another performance that makes her one of the greatest cult stars ever.
