Review of Family Guy Presents: It's a Trap! (2010) by Dan I — 24 Dec 2010
Family Guy completes the spoof on the original Star Wars trilogy with this third installment. During the opening sequence, the creators of Family Guy confessed to not wanting to do this movie, requesting that we lower our expectations.
Indeed it shows. Blue Harvest was great, and it was clear that everyone put a lot of time and effort into it. Something Something Darkside was okay. It had a few good jokes, but was nowhere near the same quality.
It's a Trap was entertaining, but there wasn't anything memorable to make it stand out. It contained excessive blood and violence, especially on Endor. It's worth watching once simply for the sake of completing the trilogy, but it won't be as remembered as Blue Harvest.
