Good solid filmmaking, although my wife was right, I was let down by the fact that this one didn't let you in on the afterlife of the students post graduation, not even in the typical 80's "Jon is now living.

." type ending. Random at times but solid acting and a somewhat transparent narrative propel this somewhat pessimistic vehicle about the pitfalls of the entertainment industry.
