Review of Falling Down (1993) by Earl H — 29 Jul 2009
A guy in his late-thirties who's not economically viable, divorced and unemployed, walking around the streets with a racist mind and a baseball bat. Deranged sequences of a once everyman who was prone into turning into a madman with a wonderful acting by Michael Douglas.
Subtle humor and insane dialogue. Not a movie that comes around twice. Powerful in its social positioning, maybe rough around the edges with a bit of a weak structure and deliverance, but a decent Schumacher film I'd revisit.
