Review of Falling Down (1993) by Derek B — 07 Dec 2009
Very uncomfortable to watch but insightful about the American dream, the vanishing middle class, modern urban life, and a completely insane person.
Some may be offended at what they perceive as the movie's racist portrayal of African American and Hispanic youth, but I think the movie is trying to depict the tension between white middle class values and the realities of modern urban life.
