Review of Falling Down (1993) by Brad G — 18 Jan 2010
Michael Douglas gives one of his finest performances as the homeward bound nutter D-Fensâ??that flat top is worth the rental! I love how this flick is at once deeply depressing (the depiction of D-Fensâ?? psychotic break) and totally rousing (D-Fens cutting a swath of vengeance through L.
A.â??s scum and villainy). Root and cheer on the mayhem while simultaneously dreading the inevitable doom. Yes, thanks to this film itâ??s a little bit easier to ignore the neon horror of Joel Schumacherâ??s nippled Batman flicks.
Not VF.
