Review of Falling Down (1993) by Sébastien W — 02 Aug 2013
A man is kept hostage in urban absurdistan, when all he wants is to attend his daughter's birthday. But he is not willing to give in, he turns into D-FENS mode. That's the start of an odyssey through the heat of LA, finally bringing together the good and the bad guy to a classic showdown.
Dark humoured, dramatic and heart-stinging masterpiece by Schumacher with excellent play by Douglas and Duvall, Hershey and Weld. A MUST-SEE.
