Review of Falling Down (1993) by Eytan D — 17 Aug 2014
The plot of "Falling Down" is fairly simple, but in its simplicity and its realism the viewer finds one of the more disturbing and effective vigilante movies since "Death Wish". The story of a simple man getting up one day and just deciding to go on a violent odyssey across the city especially rings true today, which is what makes it scary.
While the movie is well-written, well-directed by Joe Schumacher, and it has a good cast, the star of the movie is Michael Douglas, who gives what I believe to be one of his best performances.
