Review of Falling Down (1993) by Tom T — 15 Mar 2011
Falling Down sees Michael Douglas play a laid off defense worker who snaps into a violet crusade against the things he hates in the world, with a detective on his last day (Robert Duvall) tracking him down.
Although the film holds an interesting idea of how an average man's mind snaps I just didn't care for the character of which Douglas played. Duvall is good at playing a retiring cop eager to get out of the office, but apart from that and a few scenes I wasn't really that fussed.
