Review of Fallen (1998) by Marija D — 20 Jun 2008
Fallen (1998).
So what's it about? Homicide detective John Hobbes witnesses the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese. Soon after the execution the killings start again, and they are very similar to Reese's style.
My thoughts on the movie? Another solid denzel movie, I was a little put off by this because of the fact it is classed as a supernatural thriller so I was imagining all sorts of ghosts n stuff flying around which really ain't my thing but there was none of that it was actually quite a believeable and gripping thriller with the supernatural aspect being very minimal and more of a reliance and superb acting and a decent plot, I can can always seem to rely on denzel if I want to watch a good solid movie.
Most memorable quote:
"Something is always happening, but when it happens, people don't always see it, or understand it, or accept it.".
Rating: 4/5.
