Review of Fallen (1998) by Casey P — 15 Mar 2016

Washington plays a cop who witnesses the execution of a serial killer he had helped capture. After his death, a series of murders occur that follow exactly the same pattern as the dead killer. A big budget, Hollywood thriller that takes the premise of the low budget flick "The Hidden" and gives it a supernatural spin.

This is a much longer and duller film than that little B-movie gem. There are some good ideas on display here, and a pretty great cast that includes John Goodman, James Gandolfini, Donald Sutherland and Elias Koteas, but the film is slow, turgid and just not very entertaining.
