Review of Falcon Rising (2014) by Rmommandi — 07 Jan 2015
Going into the movie I didn't have high hopes...and even though it started promising I still came out disappointed.
The whole movie had a balky, at times disjointed feeling. The plot would jump from one focus to another too quickly and characters were never developed.
Granted, Falcon Rising did not have Oscars-level ambition, but unfortunately the action wasn't all there in this action flick. The choreography was unrefined and just unsatisfying overall, and that is fair, given Michael Jai Whites pedigree for great fight scenes. Lets hope that the next installment of the Falcon series lives up to the high expectations.
