Review of Faith Like Potatoes (2006) by Robin P — 24 Jun 2011
The true story here is fabulous...the putting together of scenes and some of the acting left a little to be desired. The story is really a "5 Star" story of salvation, hope and faith...made me cry a few times.
..I could feel what they were feeling. Scottish born Angus Buchan, played perfectly by a virtually unknown Frank Rautenbach, ends up in South Africa with his growing family starting a farm from scratch.
Finally after realizing his anger problem, among other things, he goes to church at the insistence of his wife who is at the end of her rope. He is inspired by another farmer who is speaking and he gives his life to God.
..it changes everything and begins a great walk of faith for him and his family, although not without some tragedy and hardship...but the difference is Angus's heart change. Very inspiring story!
