Review of Fair Game (2010) by Xander V — 15 Apr 2011
Fair Game is one of those rare movies in which everything gels perfectly.
This movie is both political thriller and partial spy movie, but as it would be in real life, it's not the shoot 'em up shenanigans of James Bond. This is about a husband and wife raising a family in suburbia struggling with the day to day situations we all do except that the wife is a spy and they just ticked off some very powerful government leaders.
The writers show us the stress, conflict, love, tenderness, coldness, fear and attempted detachment a real spy must have to deal with on a daily basis.
I really liked this movie and strongly recommend anyone who enjoys a political edge-of-your-seat thriller to go and see it.
