Review of Failure to Launch (2006) by Kim G — 30 Nov 2008
Light comedy with Sarah Jessica Parker. The jokes are enjoyable and get you to giggle here and there. Apart from some unlikely details in the plot and the name of the male main character (Tripp - whoever named his child that should be getting some counseling), the story is not that uncommon.
Besides the main characters, I suppose one has to highlight the presence of Kathy Bates. Unfortunately, she is not that important in the movie and, personally, I think she deserves better roles because she is more than qualified.
Overall, more than good for a night in, on the couch.
