Review of Fail Safe (1964) by Jim P — 22 Oct 2008
Hard as the hardest-hitting knock on your head. This movie never allows you to feel emotion, it drives it to you, it forces you to perceive the existing notions and ideologies and gets you roused up to your feet to know that this is messed up and personally, this film does a great job of morality-mongering in its unconventional straight-up and deeply personal way.
I love Cold War movies, I love the set-up for this film, the opening opens up this hole that gets filled in and it fills us as an audience too. Utterly wonderful.
