Takes about half an hour to get to the point, but when it does Lumet's genius clicks into gear and it becomes absolutely riveting.
I adore Henry Fonda and if I was that way inclined I would have liked to have had his babies - but then I guess that would make me Jane Fonda's mum which would lead to all sorts of confused feelings when I watched Barbarella. On the plus side though I could've given Peter a big mum hug when he made Easy Rider.
