Review of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) by Stephen M — 27 Sep 2011
Well, I must admit that I'm wait late in checking out this controversial documentary and it's the first Micheal Moore film that I've seen. Not surprising, like most self hype machines he has made a one sided, sentimental and questionable documentary. Make no mistake, there are some stuff here to chew on. Such as Bush's ties to Bin Laden, some of the recruitment practices of the marines, and some of the questionable actions/reactions by The President and other political figures.
Alot of it's stuff we know or have seen even though everyone might not have put it all together. So much of this fits into his obvious predetermined opinions. He leads you to believe that everyone effected by the war have basically turned anti-republican. And even though I agree that most everyone isn't a fat cat got screwed during Bush's run, it helps and makes your argument look stronger when you try to be somewhat balanced. Otherwise, you're going to turn off at least some because they'll suspect that you're just spreading propaganda.
It's got some good facts and some good arguments, but it's not totally professional and it's heavy handed.
