Review of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) by Jason D — 15 Feb 2013
Controversial fast paced and well researched documentary about 9/11 and the Bush administration's handling of the whole issue. Its upbeat language, making heavy use of dark humour and satire in a powerful way, ensures this a reputation as perhaps the most popular and successful political attack.
Michael Moore's documentary is a perfect specimen of the 21st century documentary, well researched and provocative as well as fearless of coming across as annoying in its arrogance. For this reason, one would be forgiven for describing it as propagandist.
Nevertheless, it's a work of great interest that raises serious issues, investigates grippingly and most of all entertains.
