Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Jack Y — 11 Feb 2008
Truffaut in English and in colour. The sci-fi elements about a futuristic London are done well, especially the location filming. The message is more disturbing, especially in the 21st century where people do indeed seek dumbed-down content via their television screens as a form of Soma.
Werners change in character rather well done; the originally accidental casting of Christie in two roles inspiring.
