Review of Fahrenheit 451 (1966) by Richard Y — 11 Feb 2008
Truffaut and Oskar Werner together again after Jules and Jim: only this time, with hatred! A great film version of Radbury's SF classic, with a very hot (no pun intended) Julie Christie playing dual roles.
If you've never watched books burn, well, here's your chance outside of Nazi filmreels. Overall the film has a great mood, not the least of which is the music by Bernnard Hermann (who was also a difficult guy).
