My dad had us watch this film when I was about six years old because it just happened to come on TV. Yeah, the woman setting herself and her books on fire scared the shit out of me and it's still creepy today.
The whole movie is kinda funky and retro, but I'm sure it will still top how Frank Darabont will screw up the remake. Still not the best choice for a family film though...
